
Kota Kinabalu (Feb 12) - Car enthusiasts across Sabah are gearing up for Borneo Wheel Day 2026, an automotive gathering set to take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Futsal Sembulan, Kota Kinabalu.
Organised by WWPK Corp (est. 2014), the one-day event will run from 10:00am to 6:00pm, bringing together car owners, collectors and fans of classic and modified vehicles from around the region.
The showcase promises a vibrant display of rides spanning various eras and styles, with competition categories that highlight both performance and aesthetics. Awards will be presented for Best of the Best, Best Targa, Best Wheels, Best JDM, Best Kyusha, Best 90’s, Best Toyota Oldschool, Best Datsun, Best Nissan, Best Van, Best Mazda, Best Mitsubishi, Best Engine Bay, Best Kaido Racer, Best Bippu, Best Modern Wheels, Best Oldschool Wheels, Best Racing Look, Best Euro, and Best Convertible.
With a registration fee of RM80, participants will receive a complimentary event T-shirt and a ticket for the lucky draw, adding further excitement to the gathering.
The event is expected to draw strong participation from local car clubs and independent owners, offering a platform for automotive communities to connect, exchange ideas and celebrate their passion for wheels. Spectators can expect a lively atmosphere filled with striking builds, polished classics and uniquely styled machines.
Borneo Wheel Day 2026 not only highlights Sabah’s growing automotive culture but also supports small businesses and local vendors who often benefit from increased foot traffic during such large-scale gatherings.
