Kuala Lumpur (Dec 13) - HONOR has made its newly introduced Magic8 Pro smartphone available through a variety of postpaid plans offered by major Malaysian telecommunications providers, enabling customers to purchase the device through monthly instalments starting from just RM10. The plans are offered by CelcomDigi, Maxis, U Mobile, Unifi Mobile and Yes 5G.
Based on listings from the telcos, all are offering the flagship 1TB storage variant of the HONOR Magic8 Pro 5G. However, colour availability differs, with only the Sunrise Gold and Black options currently listed.
CelcomDigi is offering the device from RM70 per month under its Easy360 programme, with zero upfront payment and 0 per cent interest. The phone is bundled with several plans, including CelcomDigi One Ultra and Pro, Family/Gadget SIM Plus, as well as Postpaid 5G 100, Postpaid 5G 120, Postpaid 5G 140 and Postpaid 5G 160.
Maxis customers can obtain the Magic8 Pro from RM75 per month on a 36-month Maxis Postpaid contract. Eligible plans include Postpaid Share 48, Postpaid 109, Postpaid 139, Postpaid 169 and Postpaid 199.
U Mobile is offering the device at RM89 per month when paired with its U Family or U Postpaid plans. The package also includes up to 1,000GB of 5G data and complimentary global roaming in more than 60 destinations.
HONOR said Unifi Mobile customers will be able to purchase the Magic8 Pro through the EzOwn programme starting from RM102 per month beginning 18 December 2025, although the device has yet to appear on the telco’s official device listing.
Yes 5G currently provides the lowest advertised monthly payment, allowing customers to own the Magic8 Pro from RM10 per month, bundled with uncapped 5G data and speeds. However, the device is presently marked as sold out, with customers advised to check availability at nearby Yes 5G stores.
The HONOR Magic8 Pro is equipped with a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display capable of reaching up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Its rear camera system comprises a 50MP wide lens, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP ultrawide sensor, while the front features a 50MP camera with TOF 3D. The device is also fitted with a 7,100mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.
The HONOR Magic8 Pro is priced from RM4,599 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model, while the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage variant is priced at RM5,199.
