KIULU – More than 700 participants took part in the 6th Kiulu Adventure Challenge (KAC) today, including international competitors from Brunei, the United Kingdom, and Indonesia, as well as athletes from Peninsular Malaysia.

This year’s challenge featured multiple disciplines such as mountain biking, trail running, and rafting, offered in both individual and team categories. The event also served as an economic boost for the local community, with homestays, campsites, chalets, and food outlets experiencing brisk business throughout the programme.
In addition to the main competitions, several community-focused activities were held, including traditional games, local craft showcases, and mural painting sessions, further adding to the festive atmosphere.
The event was jointly organised by Seri Pelancongan Sabah (SPS) in collaboration with the Kiulu Tourism Association (KTA). Sabah Tourism Board (STB) Chief Executive Officer Julinus Jimit was also present at the event.
