KOTA KINABALU — The highly anticipated Sabah Durian Tourism Bazaar 2025 is set to take place from 12 to 14 December 2025, bringing a vibrant celebration of local fruits, culture, and agrotourism to the Segama Waterfront.

Running daily from 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m., the event is organised by the Malaysian Sabah Durian Association (MaSDa) with the support of Tourism Malaysia and a host of state partners including Sabah’s Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, the Sabah Tourism Board, the People’s Committee of Sabah, and FAMA.
This year’s edition will coincide with the launching of the Sabah Agrotourism – A Unique Farmland Experience Booklet No. 2, aimed at promoting Sabah’s expanding agrotourism sector and encouraging visitors to explore the state's agricultural attractions.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of activities, including:
- Durian & Tropical Fruit Stalls featuring Sabah’s diverse produce
- Food and drink stalls offering local delicacies
- Consume Local Fruits Campaign to promote homegrown agriculture
- Cultural performances highlighting Sabah’s multicultural identity
- Unique Durian Competition, where growers showcase their best harvest
- Busking sessions to entertain crowds throughout the event
The bazaar is expected to draw locals and tourists alike, especially as Sabah’s durian season continues to gain regional attention for its rich varieties and flavours.
