KOTA KINABALU — The Sambutan Perayaan Krismas Peringkat Negeri Sabah 2025, also known as the Sabah Christmas Celebration 2025, will take place from December 16 to 19 at Padang Merdeka, Kota Kinabalu, starting daily at 6.00pm.
Organised at the state level, the four-day celebration aims to bring together people from all walks of life to mark the festive season in a spirit of harmony, unity and togetherness. The event is expected to draw large crowds, reflecting Sabah’s rich multicultural identity and long-standing tradition of celebrating diversity.
Visitors can look forward to a lively programme featuring various performances, including appearances by local artistes, as well as festive attractions such as a Christmas tree display, seasonal decorations and sales booths offering food and other items.
The celebration will transform Padang Merdeka into a vibrant festive venue, providing families and friends with an opportunity to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere while supporting local vendors and performers.
