Kota Kinabalu (Feb 5) - Residents of Kota Kinabalu are invited to celebrate Valentine’s Day in an active and healthy way with the Valentine’s Day Fun Ride & Walk 2026, scheduled to take place on February 14, 2026, at the Perkarangan Muzium Negeri Sabah (Sabah State Museum Grounds).
The event will kick off early at 6.30am, featuring two main activities — a 30-kilometre Fun Ride for cycling enthusiasts and a 2-kilometre Fun Walk suitable for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Organised by LCS Sports & Event Management in collaboration with M Sports Event Management, the programme aims to promote a healthy lifestyle while offering a relaxed and inclusive Valentine’s Day experience.
Registration fees are around RM40, with early bird rates previously offered. Participants are encouraged to check the organisers’ official Facebook pages, including Larian Kota Kinabalu Sabah and MS Sports Event Management, for the latest registration details and updates. Solo participation is allowed, making the event accessible not only to couples but also to individuals and groups of friends.
Registered participants can expect event entitlements such as an official event T-shirt and a commemorative medal upon completion. The scenic route around the museum grounds and surrounding areas is expected to add to the appeal of the morning ride and walk.
