Kota Kinabalu (Feb 2) - For the first time, iconic Indonesian singer and Fourtwnty frontman Ari Lesmana will headline a solo concert in Sabah with a special showcase titled “Mangu Di Bawah Bayu”, scheduled for February 6, 2026, at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).
Organised by Sembang Kari Entertainment, the concert promises an intimate and emotionally rich musical journey, inspired by the concept of “Mangu” — a state of calm reflection, quiet admiration and emotional depth. The production is designed to immerse audiences in a serene yet powerful atmosphere that highlights Ari’s signature vocal style and storytelling.
Adding a dynamic layer to the performance, the concert will feature special collaborations with DJ Firza and Millvrd, blending contemporary soundscapes with Ari’s emotive indie-pop roots. The combination is expected to offer Sabah fans a fresh and engaging live music experience.
According to Fakhrul Khalid, Managing Director of Sembang Kari Entertainment, bringing Ari Lesmana to Kota Kinabalu marks an important milestone in elevating the local concert scene. He said the organiser aims to create not just a show, but a meaningful emotional experience where audiences can unwind and connect with the music, supported by international-standard production at SICC.
Ari Lesmana also shared his excitement about returning to Borneo, describing Sabah’s natural beauty and energy as deeply aligned with the spirit of “Mangu”. He noted that the concert is envisioned as a musical dialogue with fans — a moment to reconnect, reflect and celebrate shared emotions through songs.
Ticket sales began on December 22, 2025, with two main categories available:
- VIP at RM377, which includes a Meet & Greet session, fast lane access, a tote bag, lanyard and ID card, as well as official merchandise.
- Festival Standing at RM177.
