Speaking during a Ramah Mesra community engagement session, Ratib called for:

✔ Regular inspections of plantation worker accommodations

✔ Stricter verification processes for foreign laborers

✔ Expanded facilities by the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK)

✔ RM100,000 annual funding per district for drug prevention initiatives

The minister stressed that effectively addressing the problem demands a comprehensive strategy integrating three key elements: strengthened law enforcement against drug distribution, expanded community outreach programs, and enhanced family support systems.
